Yaal Herman

After completing his studies, Yaal Herman attended Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem as well as the Dada School of Photography and Camera Obscura in Tel Aviv.   He worked and apprenticed in photography-related institutions such as the Israel Museum, Baruch Framing Gallery in NY, Panorama Professional Laboratories and The Jerusalem Print Workshop. His work has been exhibited widely in Israel as well as New York (USA) and Dublin (Ireland). Married to a Canadian, Yaal, his wife and their two young sons came to Montreal for the year where he has been studying Marketing Communications and Web Design at Concordia University.

Après avoir terminé ses études, Yaal Herman a fréquenté la Bezalel Academy of Art and Design à Jérusalem, ainsi que la Dada School of Photography et Camera Obscura à Tel Aviv. Il a travaillé et a suivi un apprentissage dans des institutions à vocation photographique telles que le Israel Museum, Baruch Framing Gallery à New York, Panorama Professional Laboratories et The Jerusalem Print Workshop. Son travaille a fait l’objet de nombreuses expositions en Israël, ainsi qu’à New York et à Dublin (Irlande). Marié à une Canadienne, Yaal, son épouse et leurs deux jeunes fils sont à Montréal pour l’année; il y étudie à l’Université Concordia, en Communications Marketing et Design pour le Web.
